Lantern slide photograph of a homecoming street march in Sydney. A dog mascot missing a leg leads three soldiers.

On 26 November 1918 the Sydney Morning Herald reported a 'great demonstration' at the Town Hall, that included the 'Anzacs' mascot' - a bulldog. A mascot bulldog 'from the troopship' was also reported at a Lyceum Club gathering in George Street on 24 April. Neither article mentions the dog was wounded, so neither may be the occasion depicted in the photograph.
