Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Large paper scrapbook with 95 brown paper pages and cover, bound with cardboard and white cotton string. The book contains paper-based advertising clippings and booklets. Clippings are printed in black and white and colour on both gloss and matte paper. All clippings are attached with glue. Contents are written in black ink and pencil on pages and clippings. The promotional materials range in size from 179 mm (W) x 114 mm (H) to 200 mm (W) x 290 mm (H)
