The Modern Hercules medal made in Germany, 1914-1915, by Karl Goetz.
Medal features Willhelm, the Crown Prince of Germany on the obverse and Hercules (also known as Heracles) facing the Hydra of Lerna on the reverse. The Hydra was a multiheaded, serpent-like monster that was killed by Hercules as the second of his Twelve Labours.

Obverse Description
