Handbook published by the Department of Transport and Communications, Australian Government Publishing Service, Canberra. The handbook is aimed at Radiotelephone Ship Station Operators.

This equipment was collected from the Melbourne Coastal Radio Station after it was closed in July 2002. In addition to communications equipment and documentation, items in general office use were collected in order to represent as far as possible the working environment at the time of closure.

The content is presented in 30 parts, divided among 10 chapters, plus 7 appendices, a glossary and an index. There are sixty-nine pages in total. The content is a combination of text, diagrams and tables.
