Australia Victoria Melbourne
Victorian Arts Centre medal c. 1990 (AD)
Mint: Stokes Australasia
Other Details: A gold-plated medal with polished proof finish depicting the Victorian Arts centre with its original tower design. It was minted around 1990. The medal was developed by Stokes to be one of a series of Melbourne tourism highlights for sale at each venue. The Museum of Victoria was to be one, but the idea failed and only a few medals made for promotional purposes were struck.
