Lantern slide depicting an inscribed Huntley & Palmers 'army no.4' biscuit. Its inscription indicates that it is a relic of Lemnos and another location. The lantern slide indicates that the 'main food' was this type of biscuit, with plum and apple jam, rice and bully beef.

The location of the actual biscuit is unknown. Another example is held by the State Library of Victoria (H28109); the Australian War Memorial also holds several examples of inscribed World War I biscuits.
