Mostly missing but with correct lighting much of the standard obverse, crowned and draped bust of the Queen facing right; around, QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND; the artist's initials, CT, incuse on the bust truncation, can be detected

This coin was struck from the end of a casting fillet, characterised by a metal flaw through the centre of the coin. After striking the obverse and reverse seperated leaving on this piece a well struck reverse but only a ghost of the obverse. The coin is, as expected, about half of the standard weight.
