Copy of photographic negative depicting congestion in the balconies above Queen's Hall at the Institute of Applied Science (Science Museum) in 1965. The Science Museum lost its use of Queen's Gallery a few years later in 1968, but in return gained most of the gallery area and the McArthur basement. The bulk of exhibits in Queen's Hall were later transferred to Swinburne Hall (formerly Murdoch Gallery).
