Up until 1968, Queen's Hall was the principal display area for the Institute, and included exhibits on a wide range of topics - space research, rail and road transport, photography, atomic physics, optics, radio and television, aviation, primary production, antibiotics, public health, bacteriology, economic metals and shipping.
