Polarograph - power unit and recorder. Controls voltage applied to electrodes in sample solution and records current as function of that voltage. Used at CSL for testing penicillin solutions as well as for research purposes. This instrument was used by Mr J Birner in Biological Chemistry R&D Dept during the 1960s. Used at Commonwealth Serum Labotarories (CSL) Ltd, Parkville, Victoria.

Physical Description

Oblong box of varnished wood. Silver/black control panel, front LHS with various knobs, letters and markings. Graph paper inserted on mechanism in window on right, with opening door.
