Summary

Book of chemical laboratory labels. Early in the 20th and late 19th century, laboratory supply houses sold books of pre-printed labels for reagent bottles. These covered all the chemicals used and reagents commonly used in typical labs. The modern practice of maunufacturers issuing shelf-size packs instead of bulk containers has made these labels obsolete. Used by Commonwealth Serum Laboratories (CSL) Limited, Parkville, Victoria.
