Physical Description

14 inch brass dial with roman numerals for hours and arabic numerals for minutes. Spring wound; fusee; verge escapement. Rack striking. Regulatory device for the pendulum consists of a pivoted bar across the top back of the movement. This bar is raised or lowered by the action of a cam controlled by a hand which is set in a subsidiary dial on the side of the movement.
