World War I photograph album containing 129 photographs. Includes photos of servicemen, battle sites and buildings.

Covering areas of service of Cyril Rose, A.I.F., the probable photographer and uncle of the donor. Cyril Joseph Rose, service number 13078, was a 26-year-old motor mechanic living in North Melbourne when he enlisted on 14 September 1916. He was only 5'3" tall and 110 lbs (49kg). Cyril was made a driver in the 1st Australian Auxillery Mechanical Transport Company, then moved to the 2nd Australian Divisional Mechanical Transport Company when in France. He sailed from Melbourne on 22 December 1916 on the Persic, arriving in England in March 1917. In June he was sent to France, where his service included driving a supply column. He returned to Australia on the Persic on 13 July 1919. He passed away in 1954.
