Jeweller Leon Hatot founded ATO clocks in Paris in 1923, becoming a leader in electric clock production combined with leading design styles.

Physical Description

Wooden case with round arch and inlaid lines. Electric impulse movement; 1/4 second pendulum. Part of the dial is cut away to show pendulum with curved magnet, which passes through a solenoid which is pulsed by a 1.5 volt battery. Magnet on back of case can be turned to accelerate or retard clock by influencing magnet on pendulum.
