Horse brass depicting an ace of hearts or shield. Border of pierced holes. Design is possibly of gypsy and romany origin. There are fifty two perforations in the border, possibly representing the number of weeks in the year. Type: cast brass. Date: 1825-1939.
Comments: item has the remains of two studs on back. Possibly from the casting process.
