Magic lantern readings in the form of a booklet, featuring 'The Six Days of Creation' for use during a magic lantern presentation.

During a presentation, the lecture was read whilst projecting the corresponding slide. Lecture highlighting the known geology and fossil record of the time, tying it into the Biblical Creation story to show 'His fingers in His majestic works.' Originally a set of sixty magic lantern slides accompanied the booklet.

This booklet is part of the Francis Collection of pre-cinematic apparatus and ephemera, acquired by the Australian and Victorian Governments in 1975. David Francis was the curator of the National Film and Sound Archive of the British Film Institute as well as being a co-founder of the Museum of the Moving Image in London, which was operational between 1988 and 1999.
