Physical Description

Muzzle loading, smooth bore, over & under barrels 6 in. (153 mm.) long, with grooved side ribs, U notch backsight, bead foresight, overall length 11 3/16 in. (285 mm.). Box lock action with side hammers, long hammer on the left, sliding safety bolts, steel screw in cleaning vents under nipples. Oval steel trigger guard, two triggers. Finely chequered wooden stock, steel butt cap with cap recess, silver monogram plate, swivel ramrod, steel belt hook on L. H. side. Steel mounts engraved with foliate scrolls.
