Physical Description

Muzzle loading, smooth bore, side by side barrels 4 3/16 in. (107 mm) long, bored from a solid block & mitred on the outer edges, U notch backsight, bead foresight, overall length 8 1/2 in. (216 mm.). Box lock action with side hammers, oval steel trigger guard, two triggers, steel screw in cleaning vent under nipple, swivel ramrod. Chequered wooden stock, silver monogram plate. Steel belt hook fitted to left hand side. Mounts engraved with foliate scrolls.
