Single barrelled shotgun, 10 gauge .765. Twist steel barrel 30 1/8 in. (765 mm) long.

Made by William Taylor, Beverley, Yorkshire, England, circa 1830.

Physical Description

Octagonal at breech, rib under barrel, brass tipped wooden ramrod. Walnut half stock tipped with horn, chequered at grip, silver monogram plate bears "W". Back action lock, steel mounts engraved with foliate scrolls, brass pin head foresight.
