Microscope working cabinet used for minimising external light whilst viewing specimens. These were typically set up in corners and had shelves on the exposed wall. The microscope would be used with an arc light, filtered electric bulb, UV lamp, or other illumination. Used at Commonwealth Serum Laboratories in 1919 and later.
