This item was made circa 1970 and used in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, circa 1970 - 1973. It was worn by donor during anti-Vietnam war and anti-conscription rallies. Donor believes that this particular style of badge was produced for the first moratorium rally on 8th May 1970. Probably produced by Vietnam Moratorium Organising Committee.Donor was a student at Monash University between 1968 and 1973, and was involved in student politics, including membership of the militant Students for a Democratic Society.
