Badge inscribed 'Y.C.A.C.' - Youth Campaign Against Conscription was used in Melbourne circa 1965-1970. It was acquired by donor during his period of draft resistance and other anti-conscription activities between 1965 and 1972 and used in travelling exhibition, "Moratorium Means to Stop". The Youth Campaign Against Conscription (YCAC) formed in late 1964 as a response to the act for Compulsory National Service of the same year. In a 1969 essay, the donor shared his views that this organisation was ineffective and unprepared to engage in direct action when other means had failed.
