Snuff bottle (which could have been used instead for perfume or for smelling salts) which belonged to the donor's aunt, Mrs Rosetta (Rose) Biggin, nee Aarons. Mrs Biggin was the wife of a wool broker who lived in St Kilda.

Physical Description

Silver bottle, round with flattened sides, with ornate scrollwork pattern over surface, small round stopper and short chain suspended from shoulders of bottle. Blank centre panel on one side would be intended for a monogram.
