Tortoiseshell hair comb, made by Edward Wright Daddo in New Guinea in the 1920s. He used to visit New Guinea (Port Moresby) for months at a time in connection with his work with the Commonwealth Auditor's Service.

Hair comb made of tortoiseshell. Five fingers, with top plate headed by five circles. Slightly curved.
