Spray of red cloth artificial flowers (roses) made by Marion Kann. Marion (Mimi) was of born in Vienna, Austria in 1910. She immigrated to Australia in 1939, most likely fleeing the persecution of the Nazi regime as she was Jewish. In Australia she married follow a refugee and Austrian Jew Herbert Kann.

Physical Description

Bunch of six roses made from velvet, satin, crepe and silk. Shades vary from red to pale pink; one flower is pale grey with pink tips. The leaves are made from green velvet, stiffened with wire, and the stems are wire, bound in green paper.
