Signed black and white photograph of Hungarian soccer player Ferenc Puskás with the European Cup, circa 1960s. Regarded as one of the finest players and one of the top goal scorers of the 20th Century, Puskás played for Hungary before migrating to Spain in 1958, following the Hungarian revolution of 1956. In Spain he played for Real Madrid, winning three European Championships (1959 he missed the final due to injury) 1960 and 1966 with the Spanish National Team. This image was given to Joseph Abonyi (father of Attila) in 1974. Attila Abonyi played for the Socceroos, he migrated from Hungary with his parents and brother in 1957 under the Hungarian Refugee Assistance Scheme.
