Bottle of hydrobromate of quinine obtained from the pahramacy of a mental health hospital in Victoria, Australia circa 1920. Made by Howards & Sons Ltd., London. Quinine was used for the treatment of various fevers as well as epilepsy.

Drug Hydrobromate of Quinine is contained in a clear glass bottle, sealed with a cork. Emptied by Conservation label. White powder residue on inside of jar.
