White linen combinations of vest and knee-length drawers.

Part of a small collection of clothing used at Emily McPherson College, Melbourne, as object lessons and/or demonstration works. They were made around 1940 by previous students of the college, handwork being an essential part of the course. The donor, Miss Findley, taught at the College.

Physical Description

White linen combinations of vest and knee-length drawers. Front buttoning, four mother-of-pearl buttons with lace edging around neck, armholes and at hem of crotchless drawers. Back bodice is cut separately. The garment is all machine sewn. Lace around bottom edge of drawers.
