Gum trees painted by Nina Chelleri, between the 1970s-1990s. Nina migrated to Australia from Croatia in 1953 with her mother and brother, her father having migrated before them. Nina's mother Helen was an artist, who worked painting pottery at a number of commercial Melbourne studio's and then later teaching painting from home. This painting by Nina represents the passing down of skills from one generation to the next.
