Summary

Issue 18, #5 of the Philatelic Bulletin produced by the Australian Post Office, April 1971. The Bulletin contains articles on the Australian Natives' Association (ANA) and Stock Exchange stamps issued that year. Printed during the 70th anniversary since Australia's Federation, the Bulletin also features illustrations of commemorative and historic stamps and artwork from the event, including a sketch of the opening of federal parliament by the Duke of Cornwall & York in the Exhibition Building, 9 May 1901, and a reproduction of the 1951 commemorative stamp which was based on a painting by Tom Roberts.
