Summary

Rembarrnga people refer to string bags by the term malga. The string is very fine and has been spun from the Sand Palm leaf that they call djanggelle.

Physical Description

A looped bag made of dyed vegetable fibre string with a simple loop stitch. A multistrand handle of vegetable fibre string is attached on opposite sides of the opening.
