Summary

A staff bulletin or newsletter issued to Kodak Australasia staff in May 1923. This is the first issue of the Kodak Works Bulletin and it incorporates all branches of the company.

This bulletin was originally housed in the Kodak Business Archive. It is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

Physical Description

19 page A5 paper booklet on glossy lightweight paper stock, stapled along spine. Black and white text and images. There is an image of the Kodak Abbotsford recreation hall as seen through the garden on the front page and a cartoon black cat on the back cover.
