A grey letter card illustrated with the Melbourne Exhibition Building, 1911. This example is one of a series of letter cards made between 1911-1924. There were over 100 different letter cards created, each showing a different image of Australia. The cards were purchased with pre-paid postage within Australia of one penny. The cards were similar to postcards except they were able to be sealed, making them more private.
