Copy of a medal of Duke Francesco Sforza (1401-1466). The original medal was by the artist by Sperandio of Mantua (about 1431-1504). This two piece electrotype copy was made circa 1881 by Robert Ready. This electrotype copy was made circa 1881 at British Museum by Robert Ready from a bronze cast held by that museum (Reg: G3,VP.10).
