Summary

A souvenir sheet from The Stamp & Coin Show held at the Royal Exhibition Building March 21-23 1985. The sheet has a picture of the Royal Exhibition Building on it and two stamps from Norfolk Island. Both stamps are $1 and one depicts the Space Robot 'Giotto', the other Halley's Comet. The Norfolk Island sheet was the first souvenir sheet to be produced for The Stamp & Coin Show, and this specimen is labelled number 1498. The Giotto space robot was sent to observe Halley's Comet on its 1986 apparition. Halley's Comet was a very popular image to have on stamps over 1985-6 as the rare event was commemorated.
