The figure in this painting appears to be depicted in the motion of walking with arms held out and feet turned in opposite directions indicative of movement. This is one of five bark paintings donated to the museum by Dr George Horne in 1922. One was later exchanged with the Australian Museum in Sydney. They were most likely collected in the late 1800s or around 1900.
