Within an oak wreath, THREE / SHILLINGS / TOKEN
These coins were struck by the authority of an order from the Committee of Council on Coins of Jersy dated 5 February 1813. The term 'token' on the reverse reflects the fact that the coins do not contain silver to the value of the stated denomination.
