In this basket Dianne Mikginjmikginj has attached a handle made separatley to the basket through stiching. This type of handle is known as berldjindjindulubom. The basket has been coiled with horizontal bands of dyed and undyed pandanus.

Dianne Mikginjmikginj often travels from Gunbalanya in the dry season to Kakadu National Park to demonstrate aspects of pandanus collection, preparation and construction of forms. Her work is characterised by open coiling, often in muted tones.

Basket, coiled, with horizontal bands of dyed (pale purple and orange) pandanus and undyed pandanus. The single coiled handle is attached by stich in the middle of the bag on opposite sides.
