Handles are a key feature of baskets made during mission times and continue into the present; they are divided into two main categories; those that move and those that do not. Daisy Nadjongorle's basket has a handle known as berldjarrkkarlang, one that joins together forming a triangular space on each side with a single coil. The basket has a canoe form and has been coiled with vertical bands of dyed and undyed pandanus.

Daisy Nadjongorle makes pandanus looped bags as well as boldly patterned coiled baskets that combine coiling techniques.
