Split slide. The image on the left shows the 'SY Discovery' with a man on the deck wearing a sailor's hat. The image on the right shows the 'SY Discovery' with a man climbing up the rigging of the ship's mast. Eric Douglas said 'Left - The Bridge looking aft and Right - A view from the foreyard looking aft'. Physical Description

Two panoramic, black and white photographic transparencies, printed on a glass plate. The images are protected with a cover glass of the same size. Paper is also inserted in between the two pieces of glass and the whole slide is bound together with black paper tape.
