Summary

Aboriginal men usually had sets of firesticks that included a base plate, usually rectangular in form and with notches at one end indicated how they are used. The set then included a number of circular sticks and the ones in this set have been similarly marked by rows of incisions made around the body.

A bundle of firesticks made of woodcoated in natural pigments. Two sticks are female and eight are male.
