The display features no products or cameras whatsoever, only 5 large poster print photographs of Allied leaders at the end of World War I, alongside posters declaring victory. They read: 'Victory Achieved', 'Civilisation Saved' and 'Brave Men & Worthy Patriots famous to all ages'.
Pictured, from left to right: Vittorio Orlando (President of Italy), David Lloyd George (Prime Minister of the United Kingdom), King George V (King of the United Kingdom), Georges Clemencau (Prime Minister of France), and Woodrow Wilson (President of the United States of America).
This photograph is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
