Letter from the Victorian branch of the Department of Repatriation to Mrs A. J. Kemp, widow of World War I soldier Private Kemp, killed in action 21 September 1917.

The letter, dated 8 September 1920, advises her that since her pension was increased under the new Repatriation Act of 1920, her Living Allowance was cancelled from 1 September 1920. Her living allowance had been £1/14 (confirmed in HT 13760).

Annie was struggling to raise two children on her own, and was subsequently evicted by her landlord in 1922.
