A memory unit, possibly either an "A Type Plug-in Unit" for an Elliott 402 computer system or a "Single Word Nickel Delay Line" for a National-Elliott 405 computer system.

Physical Description

A printed circuit board inside a square shaped aluminium housing with a curved metal handle. There are three electronic valves on top of the housing. There is a red stamp on one side, text in black marker pen and in pencil. There is a manufacturer's plate on the end of the handle and some handwritten text. A number is stamped inside the housing (visible without opening the box). There are four 8-socket "Jones type" connectors in the base of the unit.
