A Lee-Enfield, short magazine rifle Mark III, 1944, mounted with World War I vintage wire cutters, manufactured by C. H. Pugh Ltd of Birmingham, England.

The Lee-Enfield was designed at the Royal Small Arms Factory in Enfield. Its bolt system was designed by James Paris Lee. It became known as the '303'.

Physical Description

A Lee-Enfield rifle, Mark III* with a wire cutting tool clamped on the end of the barrel. Leather shoulder strap with brass fittings attached to rifle. Brass butt plate. Bolt and magazine removed.
