The reverses were designed by Stuart Devlin. The reverse of the 50 cent coin incorporates the logo designed by Hugh Edwards.

Physical Description

A six coin set of 50 cent, 20 cent, 10 cent, 5 cent, 2 cent and 1 cent housed in a green plastic wallet printed in gold with the Australian arms and Brisbane Commonwealth Games name and logo. A printed card insert gives details of the wildlife depicted on the coins and the names of the artists responsible for the obverse (Arnold Machin) and various reverse designs (Stuart Devlin). The fifty cent in this pack commemorates the Games

Reverse Description

Standard types for each denomination except 50 cent: 20 cent - platypus; 10 cent - lyrebird; 5 cent - spiny anteater; 2 cent - frill-neck lizard and 1 cent feather-tail glider. The 50 cent coin commemorates the Commonwealth Games: at centre the logo of the Games over a map of Australia; around this are athletes representing twelve of the sports and around the edge the legend XII COMMONWEALTH GAMES BRISBANE 50 CENTS
