Remote cut-off tetrode designed for use in the RF and IF stages of radio receivers. 6.3 volt indirectly heated cathode, manufactured by M.O. Valve Co. England.

The KT in the type number indicates that this is a so-called 'Kinkless Tetrode' where pentode-like characteristics are obtained by the use of suitable screen grid to anode spacing and beam forming electrodes. The W indicates that it is a remote cut-off type.
