This 1:12 scale model of a GAF Jindivik Mk.3 was purchased by the Museum from the Government Aircraft Factories in 1960.
The Jindivik is a target drone and was created by the United Kingdom in collaboration with Australia in its development of guided missile testing. The drone has a single skid instead of wheels as the landing gear and a dorsal air vent sits where the cockpit would normally be located.

Orange pilotless aeroplane model with antenna attached to nose and a single skid in place of the wheels. Features painted red, white and black flags and kangaroo logo.
