Physical Description

Plated soup spoon marked 'Astor Plate E.P.N.S.A. on back and stamped 'H.I.S.' on front of handle. Plating is worn. "H.I.S.' stands for 'Hospital for the Insane, Sunbury'. Item used at the Caloola Training Centre and dates from the time when the institution was called 'Hospital for the Insane'.
