Physical Description

Small soft doll, printed in brown on fawn cloth, representing Malcolm Fraser, who was Prime Minister of Australia from 1975 to 1983. The doll is a caricature of Mr Fraser, emphasising his long nose. It may have been manufactured as a "voodoo doll", reflecting Fraser's unpopularity at the time of the sacking of the Whitlam Labor government in November 1975. The doll is sewn together, stuffed with a soft stuffing, and is marked on the material at the back "hand-printed in Australia/ by TOBHAR".
